An independent lab in California performed ASTM G133 reciprocating wear testing study in a high temperature lubricated environment. The results find glass content is a significant driver in thermoplastic guide performance, whereas MP Polymer technology and Rod Guides are superior in wear resistance due to the resin system and manufacturing process.
